Siapa bikin orang yang introvert ada batasan ye?

18 years ago, I was a child who likes to draw stick people, house, sun, etc
(you know, like what you see kindergarten kid’s drawings) and
I color it with multicolour stencil color pencil which my dad bought for me.
I love the colors, just like rainbow it looks very jolly.
Since then, I always love to draw in class.
Guru P.S (x play station, = pendidikan seni)
always give me A or A+ star for my drawings.
(woot! Muka kembang giler! If I got wings, sure terbang tak turun2 nih..)
In fact I have my dad’s gene, my dad draw too (last time before I was born),
No, he is not a draftsman.
I’ve seen his art work. His drawings are good! I mean excellent!
Probably you should see his writing, very neat, tidy and
got the English-ness + robot-ness writing. (cayalah!)
Well my dad’s genes got into me, finally she grow to be an artsy-fartsy daughter.
I used to win the Chinese writing and Chinese calligraphy competition when I was in primary
school. (Don’t believe? Believe it) and just so you know why I speak mandarin.
I have more interest on art subject compare to other subjects.
A lot of people think that art is just a piece of shit
and it can’t help you much in the future. (My mama is one of them)
I do have difficulty when it comes to choosing my own path (after SPM)
I have two choices in my mind on what courses should I go for.
Either Multimedia or Graphic Design…
After discuss with parents, it end with no conclusion.
Mama says graphic design won’t do any good in the future. (hipokrit kan?)
Mama says multimedia is okay but u got to stay in the hostel, it is not safe for you. (alasan!)
My dad indeed agreed with mama.
(oh! my typical mama)
So GUESS what course I end up with??!
MASS COMM!
I know many of you (in ur heart) gonna murmur that
(ha! Ye ke? Can she do it? A person like her would dare to study mass comm?!)
YES, Me & Mass Comm (lucu?)

I know I’m introvert, forlorn, not loquacious. So what?
That’s not gonna hold me down.
Even tho’ I’m introvert, deep down beneath my skin I’m loud.
Besides ART, I love TV / visual. (I can spend my 24/7 on TV or Internet)
Mass Comm. got the element that I am into it.
Mass comm. is created by people to send the transmitting device to large amount of audience.
What is this device?
Mass media is the answer!
What kind of mass media would you think of? What’s on your mind?
TV? Radio? Newspaper? Internet? Magazine?
Yes, You are right! Mass media covered all the above and other medium.
Sound fun and interesting you think? Yes indeed and it is not as easy as you thought it was.
The process of the getting more onto it is no fun, trust me.
Nobody like exam, assignment, group work ...etc
(ok, maybe some of the assignments are amusing, I agree)
Nevertheless, mass comm. is a good course for you to
practise your public speaking, your skill to approach people,
your knowledge to understand people need and wants and lots more.
Anyhow don’t take too lightly to introvert human being,
you never know if one day they will turn out to be a star!
Take a look at this famous people like Albert Einstein, Ingmar Bergman,
PJ Harvey, Mohandas K. Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, Audrey Hepburn,
Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent van Gogh, Emily Dickinson and etc.
They all are bunch of introvert people who made for
themselves an abiding place in the history of fame.
